This role reports directly to the Legal Counsel of WSP Colombia and the Country Manager of Panama, providing a significant opportunity to work within a leading global engineering and consulting firm. The position is designed for a professional capable of delivering practical and proactive legal solutions to support business leaders and project managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide array of legal functions, including the review, drafting, and negotiation of engineering, consulting, and construction contracts in alignment with corporate policies. Key duties involve managing risk, coordinating insurance programs, and acting as the primary liaison for Ethics and Compliance within the country. Furthermore, the advisor will manage external counsel and provide internal training on contractual and risk management topics. Eligibility: * Must be a qualified Lawyer with a valid license to practice in Panama. * Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience as an in-house lawyer. * Solid experience in contract negotiation, corporate law, data privacy, civil law, and labor law. * Proven knowledge and experience regarding public bidding processes in Panama. * Proficiency in English (High-Intermediate) and Portuguese (Intermediate). * Previous experience in engineering or consulting firms is considered an advantage.
