Job Purpose
The Firefighter is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers, crew, and airport personnel by performing firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services.
Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to aircraft incidents, structural fires, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and other emergency situations on airport property.
- Fire Suppression: Extinguish fires using various firefighting techniques, including the use of water, foam, dry chemicals, and other firefighting agents.
- Emergency Medical Services: Provide first aid and basic life support (BLS) to injured or ill individuals until advanced medical personnel arrive.
