Opportunity
Job Title: Associate Corporate Counsel
Genesys is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Corporate Counsel to join their dynamic Legal team. The ideal candidate will have a working understanding of laws and regulations that impact commercial technology transactions, including data privacy laws and artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements with a focus on cloud services and SaaS agreements.
- Prepare standard templates for recurring commercial transactions and to address new business models or legal and business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as business/sales, Data Privacy, Security, Product Counsel, and finance ensuring alignment with company processes and risk management.
Required Qualifications:
- Law degree from an accredited law school and have passed a bar exam in any US State or Territory.
- 2+ years relevant experience preferably gained from an in-house role.
- Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
