- Provide practical, business-oriented legal counsel to teams and leaders on privacy, regulatory, and employment issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements, including vendor agreements, licensing agreements, marketing partnerships, NDAs, and retailer/customer contracts.
- Help build, organize, and scale legal operations by developing policies, templates, and best practices.
- Support ongoing compliance efforts and identify potential legal and regulatory risks.
- Coordinate and work with external legal counsel on various matters.
Eligibility:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree.
- 4+ years of experience in corporate law or counseling companies (firm associate, in-house, or combination).
- Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing in California, OR admitted in another U.S. jurisdiction and willing to register as Registered In-House Counsel with the State Bar of California within 180 days of hire.
- Experience supporting consumer products, retail, e-commerce, lifestyle, or CPG businesses is strongly preferred.
