Perry Homes is hiring an Associate Counsel to provide legal advice concerning litigation prevention, litigation management, and legal compliance. The selected candidate will focus on consumer transactions, safety, supply-chain and contractor relationships, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve pending litigation, including disputes, demands, claims, and lawsuits related to construction projects, design/construction defects, lien claims, and commercial disputes.
- Provide legal advice on safety programs, overall safety compliance, and immigration/I-9 matters.
- Review and prepare contracts, notices, disclosures, and marketing materials.
- Conduct legal research and monitor legal developments affecting the company's business.
- Conduct legal training for sales and construction management staff.
