Perry Homes is hiring a full-time Associate Counsel in Houston, TX. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice to the company concerning litigation prevention, litigation management, and legal compliance. Key areas of focus include consumer transactions, safety, supply-chain and contractor relationships, and regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve all aspects of pending litigation for the company, utilizing outside counsel when appropriate.
- Provide legal advice regarding safety programs, overall safety compliance, and immigration matters (including I-9 compliance).
- Review and prepare contracts, notices, and disclosures concerning home sales.
- Conduct legal training for outside sales professionals and construction management staff.
