Title: Associate Counsel, Health and Technology Law Fellow

Description: The University of California Office of the General Counsel (UC Legal) is offering a two-year, full-time fellowship within its Health Affairs, Privacy & Data Protection (HAPDP) Group. The Fellow will gain hands-on experience in health law, privacy, and data protection by conducting legal research, drafting memoranda, and participating in client meetings and negotiations. The role involves working on matters such as hospital operations, healthcare transactions, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity across the UC system's campuses and medical centers.
Eligibility: Applicants must have obtained an advanced degree in law within the past 3 years. Candidates must be members in good standing of the California Bar or be scheduled to sit for the exam in July 2026 or later (with prior approval). Strong academic records and communication skills are required.
