Description: Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a full-time Associate Counsel - Sales and Marketing to support consumer sales, trade, and marketing functions across all brands throughout the Americas (including the US, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, and South America). The role reports to the Senior Director, Associate Counsel - Global Sales and Marketing, and involves serving as the strategic legal lead for consumer protection, regulatory compliance, guest-facing terms, and emerging consumer law trends (including AI and digital marketing).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the strategic legal lead for consumer sales, travel partner, and marketing initiatives across the Americas.
  • Provide actionable guidance on U.S. federal and state regulations, FTC rules, CAN-SPAM, CASL, COPPA, and advertising standards.
  • Oversee the development and governance of guest-facing terms and policies, including passenger ticket contracts.
  • Advise on the intersection of artificial intelligence and consumer law (transparency, fairness, and regulatory compliance).
  • Manage outside counsel engagements and legal budgets related to sales, marketing, and consumer law matters.
