Description: Mission Pet Health is hiring a fully remote Associate Real Estate Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance team. This role provides legal, business, and strategic support on real estate, lease administration, facilities, construction, and related operational matters for a national portfolio of veterinary hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate documents, including leases, amendments, renewals, assignments, estoppels, and SNDAs.
- Support legal review of design, construction, architectural, and vendor facilities agreements.
- Provide legal oversight and guidance to the Lease Administration team on lease interpretation and compliance.
- Advise on landlord-tenant matters, defaults, repair obligations, and related disputes.
- Manage outside counsel on real estate, construction, and property-related disputes.
