The company is currently seeking a highly skilled and versatile Commercial & Healthcare Regulatory Counsel to join its legal team. This hands-on role is designed for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, focusing on commercial contracting, vendor negotiations, and healthcare regulatory issue-spotting as the company scales its integrated services.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal functions, including:

  • Commercial Contracting: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key commercial agreements such as MSAs, SOWs, BAAs, DPAs, SaaS, and technology licensing agreements.
  • Healthcare Regulatory Support: Identifying regulatory issues and providing practical guidance on laws including the Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), Stark Law, False Claims Act, FDA/DEA requirements, and HIPAA/HITECH.
  • Privacy & Data Protection: Supporting the privacy team on data protection matters, incident responses, and breach investigations.
  • Vendor & Procurement Contracting: Collaborating with procurement, finance, and IT security teams to negotiate vendor agreements, SLAs, and data handling provisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Providing business-oriented legal advice to commercial, partnerships, and operations teams, while contributing to legal operations and process improvements.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for this position must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission: Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Experience: 8 to 10 years of legal experience (in-house or law firm) in healthcare, digital health, or pharmacy. Outstanding candidates with 4+ years of relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Skills: Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial technology agreements, vendor contracts, and a solid working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks.
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits

Fuze Health offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits:

  • Salary Range: $135,000 to $185,000 per annum (dependent on experience and location).

  • Work Location: Remote-friendly, limited to residents of specified US states including California, New York, Texas, Florida, and others.
