Description: IUCN Tanzania is inviting proposals for consultancy services to support the development and revision of Management Plans, action plans, and bylaws for three Collaborative Management Areas (CMAs) within the North-East Unguja Seascape. The consultant will facilitate a participatory process involving fishing communities and government authorities to align governance instruments with current ecological conditions and national legal frameworks.
Eligibility: Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Marine Science, Fisheries Management, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Governance, or a related discipline. A minimum of seven years of experience in coastal and marine resource management is required, along with strong knowledge of Tanzania Mainland Fisheries legislation and Zanzibar’s marine sector.
