Eligibility
Law degree from an accredited Netherlands or EU law school; Licensed to practice law in the Netherlands or an EU jurisdiction with experience in Dutch law; 2-3 years PQE in TMT law at a reputable firm or equivalent in-house experience, particularly with SaaS agreements; Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder communication; Substantive knowledge of intellectual property law as it applies to cloud services; Fluent Dutch language skills. Desirable: Knowledge of competition law, understanding of AI regulatory issues (EU AI Act), familiarity with financial services regulations (DORA, EBA, PRA), experience negotiating SaaS with financial institutions/public sector, working knowledge of EU Data Act, experience negotiating in Nordics/Middle East, ability to communicate/negotiate in Italian, French, Spanish, or German.

Description: Genesys is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Counsel to join its Legal team. This role provides commercial legal support to the Sales and Channel organisations across EMEA, focusing on driving growth while mitigating risk. The successful candidate will be instrumental in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements, particularly SaaS agreements, and offering practical legal advice in a fast-paced technology environment.
Location: Amsterdam Area
Eligibility: Candidates must possess a law degree from an accredited Netherlands or EU law school, be licensed to practice law in the Netherlands or an EU jurisdiction with experience in Dutch law, and have 2-3 years PQE in TMT law (firm or in-house), particularly with SaaS agreements. Strong contract drafting, negotiation, stakeholder communication, and substantive IP law knowledge (cloud services) are required. Fluent Dutch language skills are essential. Additional desirable skills include knowledge of competition law, understanding of AI regulatory issues (EU AI Act), and familiarity with financial services regulations.
