Title: Corporate Counsel, Procurement & IP Category: Jobs Organiser: Precisely Description: Precisely is seeking a motivated, business-minded Corporate Counsel to serve as the primary legal partner for its Global Procurement organization and a key contributor to its Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio strategy. The role involves managing, drafting, and negotiating a diverse range of global vendor and supplier agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS, and cloud-based contracts. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior counsel and stakeholders across Finance, IT, Marketing, and HR to balance operational efficiency with legal risk management. Beyond procurement, the position focuses on protecting the company’s technology and brand assets through IP portfolio management, branding analysis, and marketing content reviews. The role also addresses emerging legal areas such as AI procurement, data protection (GDPR/CCPA), and information security standards. This is a task-based position that offers a hybrid or remote work environment, requiring the ability to support global needs across US Eastern and EMEA time zones. Eligibility: * Law Degree from an accredited institution and admission to practice law in the local jurisdiction. * 5–7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in vendor/procurement contracting and IP. * Minimum of 2 years of in-house experience is preferred; top law firm experience is a plus. * Professional fluency in English for advanced legal reading, writing, and communication. * Demonstrated proficiency in negotiating complex technology agreements, DPAs, and professional services contracts. * Working knowledge of global IP concepts, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets. * Ability to work autonomously and participate in meetings across various international time zones.
