Description: Legal.io is seeking a senior, hands-on Commercial & M&A Counsel for a 3-month contract engagement supporting a leading global automotive and manufacturing company. The successful candidate will act as the lead drafter and negotiator for complex commercial transactions and mergers & acquisitions activity, including Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs), Stock Purchase Agreements (SPAs), and Transition Services Agreements (TSAs).
Eligibility: Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Requirements include 7–15 years of experience as a commercial and M&A attorney, with significant experience at a large law firm. Candidates must be able to work autonomously and maintain a consistent EST working schedule.
