Job Opportunity: Corporate Legal Counsel at Syntax
Syntax is seeking a Corporate Legal Counsel to join their team in Canada. The successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience and be called to the bar in Canada.
Job Description
The Corporate Legal Counsel will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating customer contracts, drafting and negotiating partnership agreements, and providing general legal support across various business units.
- Review and negotiate Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work
- Negotiate data privacy agreements and lead negotiations with customer’s legal and sales teams
- Draft and negotiate new partnership and referral agreements
- Provide general legal support across various business units
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4+ years of experience
- Be called to the bar in Canada
- Reporting into Global Head of Legal, will be joining a global team of commercial lawyers
