TELUS is seeking a dynamic, business-minded Commercial Lawyer to join their in-house Legal Services team. The successful candidate will act as the primary legal authority on commercial transactions, including deal structuring, contract execution, and ongoing compliance. The role is based out of the Montreal or Toronto office in a hybrid work model. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance and lead contract review and negotiation strategies for major deals.
• Navigate complex commercial arrangements and ensure optimal risk allocation.
• Manage relationships and communications with sophisticated clients, partners, and vendors.
• Drive new approaches, process improvements, and leverage legal technology and AI.
