This role is a hybrid of transactional legal work and strategic legal operations, aimed at supporting the company’s growth and scaling its legal functions. The successful candidate will manage a comprehensive portfolio of commercial agreements, including SaaS, vendor, and customer transactions. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end negotiations, drafting standardized contract templates, and driving the adoption of AI-powered legal tools and workflow automation. The role also involves partnering with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, IT, and Finance to ensure regulatory compliance and business efficiency. The provided base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $189,000 per year. Eligibility: * Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. * Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar. * Minimum of three (3) years of legal experience with a substantial focus on commercial contracts (SaaS, technology, or professional services). * Demonstrated ability to independently manage contract drafting, redlining, and negotiation. * Strong understanding of commercial provisions including intellectual property licensing, data privacy, and liability allocation. * (Preferred) Two or more years of in-house legal experience at a high-growth technology or SaaS company. * (Preferred) Proven track record of implementing AI-powered legal tools or contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems.
