LATICRETE International is seeking a passionate and ambitious Director, Legal to serve as the sole in-house legal advisor for the company and its affiliates. Reporting directly to the CFO, this remote position will oversee the company’s global legal affairs, manage external counsel, and provide strategic legal guidance on corporate, regulatory, and operational matters. The role requires close collaboration with U.S. and international teams, balancing risk management with business agility in a family-owned global company.Key Responsibilities:
  • Corporate & Business Law: Oversee corporate governance, board meetings, shareholder communications, and legal matters associated with M&A, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring adherence to local, state, federal, and international laws.
  • Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Manage worldwide litigation, claims, and disputes; select and manage external counsel.
  • Contract Negotiation: Draft and review critical contracts, licenses, and agreements with partners, customers, and suppliers.
  • Employment & IP: Advise HR on labor law compliance and oversee the protection and enforcement of the company's global intellectual property portfolio.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and active Bar membership.
  • 10+ years of corporate legal experience, with a preference for manufacturing, chemical, or building products industry experience.
  • Ability to travel globally (approximately 25%).
