Based in Dubai, the successful candidate will serve as a strategic advisor to senior management, influencing business strategy and decision-making while supporting key initiatives. The role involves advising on the launch of new products, navigating complex regulatory landscapes, and managing commercial negotiations with key partners and financial institutions. The position also entails overseeing legal and regulatory compliance risk assessments, managing data privacy matters, and supporting disputes or litigation. As a leader within a global matrixed organization, the Director will provide governance support to regional legal entities and work to foster a culture of compliance and responsibility across non-legal business teams. Eligibility: * A Juris Doctorate (JD) degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience. * Must be an admitted lawyer with at least 6 years of post-admission experience gained in a law firm or as in-house counsel. * Desirable experience in banking, payments, financial services, or the fintech sector. * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple global stakeholders.
