Description: The National Center for Law and Economic Justice (NCLEJ) is seeking motivated law student interns committed to racial and economic justice for its Fall/Spring term-time internship. Interns will assist in advocacy focusing on safeguarding public benefits, advancing low-wage workers' rights, combatting abusive debt collection, and advocating for disability justice through impact litigation, policy advocacy, and grassroots support.
Eligibility: Candidates must be students at an accredited law school with a demonstrated commitment to social justice, excellent writing and research skills, and availability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week for 12 weeks.
Compensation: $20/hour (approx. INR 1,914/hour) for students not receiving academic credit or outside funding.
