Opportunity Overview: eDiscovery Document Review Attorney

LPT Recruiting is seeking remote, temporary, full-time licensed attorneys on behalf of a mid-sized law firm based in Charlotte. This high-level document review project is entirely remote, including training, and utilizes the Relativity database. Unlike basic relevancy and privilege reviews, this project involves multi-level analysis, detailed coding panes, and issue flags that require a deep understanding of civil litigation strategy and case files.

  • Compensation: $45 per hour.
  • Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours. This is a W-2 position that includes benefits such as health insurance and paid time off.
  • Project Duration: The project timeline is flexible and could range from several weeks to multiple years.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime once acclimated. Work hours are flexible between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, with the expectation of availability during core business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST). Weekend work may also be available.
  • Start Date: July 6 or July 13, 2026, with onboarding completed the preceding week.

Eligibility & Requirements

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be an active licensed attorney in good standing.
  • Must reside in one of the following states for the entire duration of the work: North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, or Texas.
  • Possess high-level experience working with the Relativity database.
  • Demonstrate experience with civil litigation strategy and legal documents.
  • Own and use a personal computer capable of running the required review software.
  • Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Why Apply?

This position offers competitive hourly pay, W-2 benefits, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance and collaborative teamwork. It provides a unique opportunity for long-term remote work, with some team members historically remaining on similar projects for up to five years. It is ideal for detail-oriented attorneys looking for a sophisticated, well-run eDiscovery engagement.
