Description: Elevate is seeking a Financial Crime Lawyer for a six-month contract position. The successful candidate will be seconded to a prominent real estate company, providing legal and regulatory support across financial crime matters, including anti-money laundering (AML), sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), and fraud prevention. Key responsibilities include advising on UK and international regulations, supporting policy enhancements, providing advice on KYC/CDD issues, and assisting with regulatory enquiries.
Eligibility: Candidates must be qualified solicitors in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction), ideally with 4+ years’ PQE. Required experience includes advising on AML, sanctions, and ABC matters within private practice or in-house environments. Familiarity with the real estate sector and UK financial crime frameworks (POCA 2002, Bribery Act 2010) is highly desirable.
