The successful candidate will manage contested foreclosure cases from inception through resolution, gaining significant case ownership and direct client interaction. Key responsibilities include drafting and filing pleadings, motions for summary judgment, and orders to show cause. The role also involves conducting detailed legal research, reviewing title reports, and representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations. This position is designed for a professional looking to deepen their expertise in real estate litigation and creditors' rights within a growing legal practice. Eligibility: * Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. * Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Associate, Consumer Litigation Associate, or General Litigation Attorney. * Active admission to the New York State Bar (NY Bar required). * Proven experience handling foreclosure or creditors’ rights matters. * Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
