The role involves supporting growth in sectors such as solar, battery storage, EV infrastructure, and microgrid solutions. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership and the Board, acting as a key architect for the company's long-term growth and legal strategy. The General Counsel will own the company’s legal strategy end-to-end, bringing deep expertise across commercial contracting, project finance, and corporate matters. Key responsibilities include leading negotiations for major commercial agreements, overseeing debt and tax equity transactions, and managing all legal aspects of M&A and strategic partnerships. Additionally, the role involves building and scaling a best-in-class internal legal function while ensuring alignment with capital markets expectations. Eligibility: * Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in good standing. * 12+ years of legal experience, with significant exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or project finance. * Deep expertise in tax equity, structured finance, M&A, and complex commercial contracting. * Demonstrated experience advising executive leadership and operating at a senior strategic level. * Proven ability to build and lead high-performing legal teams. * Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
