Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the region, is seeking a qualified Governance Specialist - Wealth Management. This full-time, entry-level position is exclusively open to UAE Nationals. The role is designed for professionals with a strong governance mindset who want to advance their careers in compliance, banking operations, and wealth management within a premier financial institution.
Role and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting key projects and initiatives to enhance the bank's governance function and regulatory framework. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting comprehensive proposals, business cases, and pitch books for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitating coordination and effective communication with stakeholders across various projects and initiatives.
- Ensuring alignment and compliance with regulatory requirements, Group policies, and procedures.
- Engaging with relevant business functions to manage and successfully deliver on governance matters, including remediations.
- Collaborating across different geographies and subsidiaries (including Emirates Islamic and ENBD) on governance initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Nationality: Must be a UAE National.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in banking, operations, compliance, investments, and/or governance.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) Rule Book Section 3 (Business Practice). Prior experience in investments and credit is highly valuable.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, exceptional attention to detail, and robust verbal and written communication skills.
