Description: Takeda is seeking a Head Counsel, U.S. Policy Legal (Senior Director) to deliver strategic legal guidance across its U.S. business, focusing on federal and state healthcare programs and policies. The position provides high-quality legal support related to the evolving governmental healthcare, reimbursement, legislative, and regulatory landscape, serving as a key legal advisor to Takeda’s U.S. Public Affairs organization.
Eligibility:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree and bar membership in at least one jurisdiction.
- Professional training in corporate/commercial law or pharmaceutical/compliance law gained at a highly regarded law firm.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience working in a law firm and as in-house counsel in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Deep understanding of healthcare policy, government reimbursement legal frameworks, and U.S. federal and state drug pricing programs.
Remuneration: $229,600.00 - $360,800.00 per year (plus eligibility for short-term/long-term incentives and benefits)
