Description: LeadVenture is seeking a Head of Legal to serve as the company’s senior legal executive and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate will lead legal strategy, risk management, and M&A execution for a high-growth, private equity-backed vertical software company. The role involves overseeing commercial contracts, procurement, privacy, and security, while acting as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO, and PE sponsors. Key focus areas include exit readiness, sell-side diligence, and managing a global workforce across multiple jurisdictions including the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Eligibility: Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and hold an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. A minimum of 10 years of progressive legal experience with significant in-house responsibility is required. Preferred qualifications include experience in private equity-backed SaaS or technology-enabled businesses and a background in vertical software.
