The role involves architecting global fund structures and navigating the evolving intersection of traditional finance and blockchain technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing investment vehicles across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring they are optimized for both institutional and retail participation. The Head of Legal will oversee a robust compliance framework addressing AML/KYC requirements and global securities laws. Key responsibilities include managing the legal lifecycle of deal flows—ranging from reviewing SAFEs/SAFTs to overseeing complex DeFi-native investment strategies—and serving as the primary point of contact for regulators and external counsel. Additionally, the role entails establishing internal protocols for treasury management, employee token incentive schemes, and corporate governance. Eligibility: * Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with significant expertise in Investment Management (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, or Venture Capital). * Proven track record in a Senior Legal role within the crypto or Web3 sector. * Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree with an active bar membership in good standing. * Deep knowledge of global securities laws and the regulatory landscape for Decentralized Finance (DeFi). * Experience with cross-border tax structuring and offshore fund jurisdictions (e.g., Cayman Islands, BVI, Singapore). * Proficiency in understanding smart contracts, liquidity pools, and non-custodial investment strategies.
