The company helps marketing teams optimize their presence on conversational AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Having recently secured $26M in funding, Scrunch is looking to hire its first Head of Legal to build, lead, and scale the internal legal function during a period of rapid growth. The role involves a broad range of responsibilities, including leading legal strategy, managing commercial contracting (SaaS, NDAs, and DPAs), and ensuring regulatory compliance with data privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA. Additionally, the Head of Legal will oversee corporate governance, support future fundraising rounds, and advise on employment law and HR policies. The position offers a base salary range of $180,000 to $220,000 per year, along with equity and comprehensive benefits. Eligibility: * 8–12+ years of legal experience, with a mix of law firm and in-house roles (preferably in high-growth tech or SaaS). * Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree. * Admitted to practice in a relevant jurisdiction or authorized as registered in-house counsel. * Deep experience in drafting, negotiating, and advising on diverse commercial agreements. * Strong background in data privacy, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. * Must reside in one of the following US states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, IL, IN, MA, MD, MO, MN, NH, NJ, NY, OH, TX, or UT.
