Description: Firm Advice is recruiting a Head of Legal to serve as the first in-house legal hire for a dynamic, high-growth healthcare technology company. This individual will own day-to-day legal operations, focusing on healthcare/business contracting, employment matters, compliance, and risk management.
Eligibility:

J.D. from an accredited law school and member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
Experience as a first or second in-house attorney at a startup or high-growth company is strongly preferred.
Substantial hands-on experience with healthcare and business contracting.
Demonstrated employment law experience (handling terminations, employee relations, and risk management).
Ability to manage day-to-day legal matters independently and coordinate with outside counsel.

Location: Washington DC-Baltimore Area (Fully remote for candidates outside commuting distance of Northern Virginia; hybrid for those within commuting distance).
Salary/Remuneration: $180,000 - $275,000 per year (plus health, dental, vision insurance, and 401k match).
