SP Global DRT is seeking a highly skilled, full-time, in-office In-House Counsel with expertise in insurance or construction law. The successful candidate will provide legal counsel on insurance-related matters, draft and negotiate contracts, manage litigation, and assist with collections and employment-related matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance on insurance policy interpretation, coverage disputes, claims handling, and regulatory compliance.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, subcontract agreements, and labor-related contracts.
- Manage and support litigation involving insurance coverage or claims, working with external counsel as necessary.
- Assist with filing liens and collection-related matters.
- Advise internal stakeholders on risk management strategies and assist in developing internal policies.
