Description: Murdoch's Ranch & Home Supply is seeking an In-House Legal Counsel to serve as a strategic business partner to the leadership team. The role focuses on providing practical, risk-based legal guidance across various functions, including Real Estate development, Human Resources, and contract negotiations. The successful candidate will manage risk assessments, oversee compliance with retail-specific regulations, and manage outside counsel budgets to ensure cost-effective legal service delivery.
Eligibility: Applicants must possess a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the Montana State Bar. A minimum of five years of experience in corporate or business law is required, with a preference for candidates from the retail industry. Additional preferences include prior in-house counsel experience, familiarity with intellectual property law, and experience managing litigation.
