Description: Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group is seeking a junior-level Interim Commercial Contracts Counsel to provide part-time support (approximately 20 hours per week) to a marketing and digital advertising consultancy. The successful candidate will serve as junior in-house counsel, responsible for analyzing, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a broad range of client- and vendor-facing commercial contracts, including NDAs and service agreements. The role involves direct interaction with business stakeholders and managing the contract lifecycle from request through execution.
Eligibility: Candidates must hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and have at least 2+ years of independent commercial contract negotiation experience. 4 to 6 years of total experience is required. Active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and experience with CLM platforms (e.g., DocuSign CLM or Ironclad) is essential.
