Description: Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur, is hosting the International Trade Law Summit 2026 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The summit, themed "The WTO@30: Reimagining Multilateralism in International Trade Law," aims to foster global trade awareness and explore career opportunities for young professionals. The event is scheduled to take place in an offline format from October 2 to October 4, 2026. The summit is structured into two flagship components. Module I is an International Paper Conference focusing on themes such as digital trade, climate action, and the reform of the WTO dispute settlement system. Module II features a Mock WTO Exercise, a first-of-its-kind simulation in India where student delegates engage in WTO negotiations, representing various country delegations to draft resolutions and build consensus on the intersection of trade and the digital economy.
