Jagex: The RuneScape Company, a leading video game developer, is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their team in Cambridge, England, United Kingdom. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor to bring their corporate governance and commercial legal expertise to a dynamic and thriving company.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and supporting key corporate governance activity across the Jagex group, ensuring the business remains compliant as it scales. They will also administer Jagex's management incentive plan, draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, and provide advice across the business on commercial, regulatory, and corporate matters.
The ideal candidate will have a qualifying law degree or equivalent legal qualification, with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate governance and commercial legal work. They will also have experience handling corporate governance requirements for a large UK company and managing, advising on, or administering management or employee incentive schemes.
