Junior In-House Corporate Lawyer (WFH – UK & EU Contracts)

Pearson Executives is seeking a career-driven, detail-oriented Junior Corporate Lawyer to join their in-house legal team. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients across the UK and Europe, ensuring contracts are airtight, compliant, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft & review contracts across multiple jurisdictions (UK & EU focus)
  • Evaluate legal risks and propose practical solutions
  • Communicate with clients to clarify terms, negotiate points, and ensure alignment
  • Maintain contract templates and internal documentation
  • Support senior legal staff with international law research, compliance checks, and due diligence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, HR) to ensure legal consistency

Requirements:

  • Law degree (LLB or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of contract law
  • Knowledge of international law is a major advantage
  • Familiarity with European or UK legal frameworks is a huge plus
  • Ability to read, interpret, and write legal contracts clearly and precisely
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
