This full-time, entry-level role offers junior lawyers an exceptional opportunity to handle high-impact corporate transactions and regulatory matters under the direct mentorship of seasoned legal practitioners in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
The selected associate will engage in a diverse and sophisticated portfolio of corporate and regulatory work. Primary responsibilities include:
- Advising on asset management and the structuring of investment funds.
- Assisting clients with capital markets transactions and compliance under securities regulations.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of corporate and commercial contracts.
- Supporting domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including conducting legal due diligence and drafting transaction documents.
Eligibility & Requirements
Candidates applying for this position must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: Must be a Singapore-qualified lawyer.
- Experience: Possess 1 to 2 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Practice Exposure: Prior experience in corporate legal work is required. While direct exposure to investment funds, capital markets, or financial regulation is preferred, it is not an absolute prerequisite.
- Core Skills: Strong legal aptitude, a proactive willingness to learn, and a deep commitment to professional excellence and growth.
