Title: Legal Counsel at Aramark UK Category: Jobs Organiser: Aramark UK Description: Aramark UK is seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to join its legal department. The role is designed to provide expert legal advice and hands-on support to the company’s Avendra business as well as its acquired entities, including Graysons, One Circle, St James, and Wilson Vale. The primary focus of the position involves managing supply chain contracts, commercial matters, and ensuring that all arrangements align with group standards and risk appetite. The successful candidate will report to the VP & Assistant General Counsel and work closely with senior stakeholders, including board-level members. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, managing legal risks, overseeing litigation matters, and supporting corporate governance under UK law. The role offers a hybrid working model, requiring at least one day per week in the London office, with occasional travel to other business units. Eligibility: * UK-qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE), though 4-5 years is preferred. * Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom. * Proven track record in advising on and negotiating complex commercial contracts, specifically subcontracts with flow-down terms in the government sector. * Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify solutions and manage risks to support business objectives. * Excellent communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
