Description: The University of Warwick is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its in-house Legal and Compliance team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio including contract and data protection matters, supporting broader in-house activities and cross-institutional projects. This role offers the opportunity to build trusted relationships across the institution and deliver strategic legal advice free from billing targets and time recording.
Eligibility: Experienced lawyer and strategic thinker with experience delivering timely, accurate, and practical advice. Understanding of the unique challenges faced by an in-house function in a large Higher Education institution is highly desirable.
Flexible Working: Applications for part-time employment will be considered. The team operates a hybrid working model with in-office attendance currently required on Tuesdays (interim basis until approximately January 2027).
