Title: Legal Counsel at LAW Absolute (London) Category: Jobs Organiser: LAW Absolute Description: An opening has arisen for a junior to mid-level lawyer to join the London-based real estate investment and development company of a sovereign wealth fund. This business-facing role offers exceptional exposure to senior stakeholders and a diverse UK and international real estate portfolio. Working closely with the General Counsel, the successful candidate will provide support across a wide range of legal matters, with a primary focus on real estate asset management and development. The role involves advising on retail and office leases, drafting commercial contracts and service agreements, and managing event licenses. Additionally, the Legal Counsel will support the Corporate Services team on employment matters, oversee intellectual property and brand management, and ensure compliance with data protection principles. The position also entails administering legal projects, maintaining document retention policies, and eventually participating in acquisition and divestment projects. Eligibility: * Qualified lawyer with approximately 2–4 years’ Post-Qualification Experience (PQE). * Ideally trained in real estate law, though candidates with strong backgrounds in commercial contracts, employment law, or IP/data protection and a genuine interest in real estate will be considered. * Ability to work independently while maintaining clear reporting lines and risk management standards. * Proficient in managing multiple matters, balancing priorities, and meeting project timelines. * Desirable: Experience with SharePoint, company secretarial work, or proficiency in Polish, French, or Turkish.
