Confidential Careers is seeking a highly seasoned and expert Legal Counsel to support a large, diversified business group based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This senior-level in-house position is designed for a legal professional with extensive experience in real estate transactions, commercial contracts, and risk management within the UAE legal landscape.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will act as a key legal advisor to senior management and business units across the group's diverse operations. Primary duties include:
- Legal Advisory & Risk Management: Providing strategic legal advice on commercial decisions, identifying potential legal risks, and ensuring compliance with UAE laws and internal governance policies.
- Real Estate Transactions: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex real estate agreements, with a specific focus on Musataha agreements, joint venture developments, land acquisitions, and retail/commercial leasing.
- Commercial Contracts: Managing a wide array of commercial agreements, including supplier contracts, service agreements, and operating contracts.
- Dispute Resolution: Overseeing dispute prevention strategies, managing litigation and claims in coordination with external legal counsel, and leading settlement negotiations.
- Process Improvement: Maintaining and updating standardized contract templates and optimizing internal legal workflows.
Eligibility & Requirements
