Description: Norsk Hydro is seeking a full-time Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal support across corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters. The successful candidate will serve as a key advisor, draft and negotiate complex contracts, advise on corporate governance, lead small to mid-level M&A transactions, and manage litigation and outside counsel.
Eligibility:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a fully accredited U.S. law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Illinois.
• At least 6 years of post-JD legal experience, preferably combining law firm and in-house exposure.
• Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.

Remuneration: $135,339 - $203,274 per year, plus benefits (including Medical, Dental, Retirement Savings Plans, Parental Leave, and Bonus Plan eligibility).
