The organization is seeking a Legal Counsel to build and lead its internal legal function from the ground up, establishing the contractual infrastructure and risk frameworks necessary to support the business through its Series B funding stage. The role is divided across three key areas: commercial contract management, compliance, and corporate/employment law. The successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of enterprise customer agreements, oversee data protection functions (including UK GDPR and US privacy laws), and provide strategic advice on intellectual property and employment matters. This position is designed for a proactive professional who can enable business growth while maintaining a robust compliance posture. Eligibility: * Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 3–6 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE). * Significant experience in SaaS or B2B tech, either in-house or within a commercial law firm. * Demonstrated experience with US legal matters and international jurisdictional structures. * Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and practical experience with compliance certifications such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2. * Proficiency in AI literacy and the integration of AI tools into legal workflows.
