Description: Temu is seeking a highly skilled, privacy-focused Legal Counsel to join its US legal team. In this role, you will help oversee and refine the data governance framework, ensuring that the platform operates at the highest standards of data security and privacy. You will focus on building and maintaining compliance programs that align with complex US regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the refinement and management of US data security and privacy programs.
• Oversee internal and external compliance assessments and proactively mitigate data security risks.
• Refine and maintain robust policies regarding data access, retention, and cross-border transfers.
• Partner with cross-functional technical, product, and operational teams to integrate high privacy standards.
• Manage legal risks associated with third-party vendors and partners.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $200,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
• Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Sick Leave, and a 401(k) Plan.
