Description: William Osler Health System is seeking a results-oriented Legal Counsel to join its Legal Affairs team. The successful candidate will provide a full spectrum of legal services across the hospital, focusing on corporate/commercial work and health law. Key accountabilities include drafting and negotiating contracts (MOUs, collaboration agreements, construction, and IT), advising management on administrative and health law, and leading the legislative compliance program. The role also supports the Privacy team regarding freedom of information requests.
Eligibility: Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in law and be a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. A minimum of three years of practical experience as in-house counsel or at a leading law firm is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a Certificate in Health Law or Privacy Law and experience within a healthcare or public sector entity.
