AI-Media (ASX:AIM), a global leader in language and accessibility technology, is seeking a commercially focused Legal Counsel. Reporting directly to the COO, the Legal Counsel will deliver expert legal advice, manage corporate-level transactions, and support risk, governance, and compliance services across the jurisdictions in which the company operates. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general in-house legal support to the Executive Team and senior leaders on legal, risk, and governance matters.
• Prepare, review, and assess legal documents, service agreements, deeds, and leasing documents.
• Manage complex transactions such as M&A and debt facilities, including managing external counsel and legal budgets.
• Lead, advise, and coordinate the development, maintenance, and protection of the company's intellectual property portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations under the Corporations Act, Privacy Act, and other relevant legislation.
• Negotiate major commercial and non-routine transactions while mitigating legal risks.

Key Requirements:

• A professional Law degree.
• 4+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to display resilience, tenacity, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
