Title: Legal Counsel at Amcor Category: Jobs Organiser: Amcor Description: Amcor is seeking a Legal Counsel to lead and manage procurement-related legal matters within the Amcor Flexibles EMEA business group. The role serves as a strategic legal partner to the procurement function, providing support for high-value contract negotiations, regulatory advice, and dispute resolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the company’s interests by ensuring all business activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. In addition to procurement, the Legal Counsel provides broader legal services to the business group, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, handling litigation and claims, and advising on intellectual property, employment, competition law, and data privacy. This position reports to the Business Group General Counsel and involves working closely with international stakeholders to manage legal risks and support complex strategic initiatives. Eligibility: * Must be a fully qualified lawyer in an EU Member State with strong knowledge of EU law. * Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice, specifically focused on commercial and procurement law. * Deep expertise in drafting and negotiating high-value procurement agreements and strategic sourcing. * Proven track record in claim handling and managing formal legal proceedings or arbitration. * Experience in both reputable private practice and in-house environments. * Prior experience within a manufacturing or complex B2B environment is highly advantageous. * Knowledge of emerging regulations such as ESG compliance (CSDDD), CBAM, and EUDR is preferred.
