As a FTSE-listed real estate company with £13bn in assets under management, the organization offers a high-impact environment for legal professionals to manage diverse projects ranging from high-quality campuses in central London to major retail schemes across the UK. The role is a permanent, hybrid position requiring four days per week in the office. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing comprehensive legal support on commercial contracts, real estate transactions (including landlord and tenant matters), intellectual property, employment, and data protection. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating legal agreements, horizon-scanning for legislative developments, and managing relationships with external counsel while ensuring all decisions align with the company’s risk management and ethical frameworks. Eligibility: * Must hold a legal qualification recognized by the legal services regulator in England and Wales. * Minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience (PQE). * Prior in-house experience (either through a permanent role or secondment) is highly preferred. * Experience within a Top 100 UK Law Firm or a FTSE 250 corporate environment is desirable. * Demonstrated technical expertise in general corporate/commercial law, real estate transactions, and data protection. * Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal audiences.
