Description: IMC Trading is seeking an experienced Employment Counsel to join its in-house legal team in Chicago. The successful candidate will serve as the primary legal advisor on employment matters across the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, compensation, performance management, and terminations. Responsibilities include providing multi-state legal counsel (focused on IL and NY), drafting employment-related agreements, leading internal investigations, and advising on financial services-specific regulatory considerations such as FINRA licensing and whistleblower protections.
Eligibility: Applicants must possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school and hold an active bar admission in Illinois and/or New York. At least 8 years of employment law experience (in-house or law firm) is required. Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
