Description: HOYA Electronics is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its efficient in-house legal team in Singapore. The successful candidate will manage a broad spectrum of legal matters supporting commercial operations and corporate functions. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, advising on regional employment law (Singapore and Malaysia), supporting compliance programmes, and assisting in cross-border legal matters involving Japan, Taiwan, Europe, and the United States.
Eligibility: Applicants must possess a law degree from a recognised university and be admitted to practise in Singapore or another recognised jurisdiction. A minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) is required. Preference is given to candidates with experience in both private practice and in-house roles. Proficiency in Japanese is considered an added advantage.
